JulyFest at the Riverwalk (3 days, one stage, 40 artists, 15 bands) was the first time the public space had been programmed with live music and live art organized by QuarterYellow Studios (QYS) crew. The next year Live at the Waterfront (music and brew) grew from the event and then MuralFest was born, organized by ReBOLD Binghamton in partnership with QYS and the Dept. of Public Art.

MuralFest is a community driven and highly engaging event, a mass demonstration of public art, with interactive art activities for all ages, as well as demo painting/crafting by local artists and visiting artists, vendors, and music. Today the festival has grown County wide and will be in Johnson City in 2017. Invite your friends and families, pick up a brush and paint with us (you don’t have to be an artist)! Or you can B.Y.O.B. (bring your own brush) and be sure to follow the DPA on Facebook for up-to-date-details!
